If Pickering could not help you

The City of Pickering does commission some documents. Its website says: The Clerk's Office, as a public service, commissions affidavits, declarations and certifies documents.

But its published list of what it cannot commission includes:

  • Powers of Attorney
  • Wills, Living Wills, Codicil to a Will
  • Real Estate Documents, including Rental Lease Agreements
  • Divorce, Separation, Marriage, or Cohabitation documents
  • Court and/or Legal Documents (related to Civil Issues)
  • Custody Documents
  • Estate Settlement Documents
  • Documents noting the signature of a Notary Public

Its published commissioning fee when we checked: The Commissioning fee is $30.00 for up to 5 signatures and $6.00 per additional signatures.

Quoted from the City of Pickering website, www.pickering.ca, accessed 12 September 2026. Municipalities change their rules: check theirs before you rely on it.

We can do all of it. Wills, powers of attorney, real estate documents, court documents and anything needing a notarial seal, in person or at your door.
